Now I don't have to be the bad guy opposing these useless and environmentally destructive offshore wind power projects. The actual bad guys can do it.

Enthusiasm for these projects is simply the light-as-in-beer form of global warming denial. They will only prolong our dependence on fossil fuels and thus do nothing in the long run to reduce the total amount of carbon dioxide, methane, and other greenhouse gasses this civilization dumps into earth's atmosphere.

These offshore wind power projects mostly serve as greenwash for the filthy natural gas industry which they are entirely dependent upon for their economic viability.
