Do we want politicians who lie to us? Do we want politicians who promote fantastical things?

How is Arnold Schwarzenegger's hydrogen highway turning out?

Steyer is in way over his head just as Schwarzenegger was.

What Californians say they want is different from what the really want, neither of which may be physically, financially, or politically possible.

Beccera knows the ropes in California politics. He's competent to captain this ship of state. If Steyer thinks he can run the state like a business, or that his business skills are even relevant to the job, he's flushing every dollar he's spent on this campaign down the toilet whether he wins or not.

That doesn't mean I won't vote for Steyer if he's the only Democrat on the November ballot. I will never vote for a Republican or third party candidate of some hopeless cause.
