I also had problems buying too much when the prices were so good at thrift stores. But I have all that I need for most things now, and much more than I need of so much. It is easy to walk away from things that I don't need at this point in my life. I always have to know what I will do with something, when and how often it will be used, and if I have to get rid of something to make room for this. That makes me reconsider most purchases.
