Of course its been proven to be false but knowing how big money can sometimes obscure reality what if the 100 million barrels of oil we use globally every day didnt come from decaying vegetation but is instead a natural by product of the internal chemistry of the Earths dynamic inner engine..
If i was a big oil company this is the very last piece of scientific data that i'd want to be out there.
