If you are patient with dogs, this guy needs a home: Keenan, a bull mastiff (with issues) [View all]

Poor Keenan! His life has been four years of miscommunication. And now only an angel one who understands doggie language can save him. He needs you before September 30! Could you be that angel?
Maybe Keenan was attacked by another dog as a young pup. Or maybe there was some other unpleasant experience.
Whatever the case, hes now a big, strong, dashing Bullmastiff with issues particularly when it comes to other pets or strangers. He tries to tell people through his dilated pupils, yawning, panting, pacing, lip licking, and other cues. But no one has yet to catch on before he feels the need to act.
The result? Three bite incidences during his life.
The family tried trainers, but they used coercive tools like prong and E collars. Those methods usually backfire on sensitive breeds like Bullmastiffs. Sure enough, they made Keenans problems worse.
