Has always been my question about vegetarians and vegans. This response is not helpful in solving the mystery in my mind.

Why does some of the foods vegetarians/vegans eat need to look like meat looks and tastes? It’s irrational.

Vegan burgers. Meat.
Vegan cheese. Dairy derived from a cow.
Totally irrational.
