That's what the Austrians have been doing since February 24, 2022. While most of the rest of us in the EU have been paying huge increases in energy bills, the Austrians have held a gun to the head of the rest of the EU. They'll get gas from elsewhere but they'll feel the same financial pain the rest of us have been putting up with.
