those whose families have a history of living in their region that goes back thousands of years.

No...they dont have to take them, but their rabid refusal says everything. No compromise...just keep out!

It seems they fear them. Women, children, men...

Why?

And if so, why shouldn't Israel be allowed to be untrusting as well.

Lots of complicated answers.
