3. I'll be able to weigh in when I see the series, but based on what I get from the interview ....

... none of this was ever LIHOP, just like every serious historian I've read on JFK has not come out with "who did it or let it happen", instead, trying to rely on why.. (was it Kennedy's foreign policy points of view? was Kennedy ready to transform the CIA entirely from what it had become and were we ready to work on peace with countries who were seen as "communist"?

These can be examined by historical examination of what Kennedy did. The People's History (Howard Zinn) took the same approach so that the reader "gets it" after a while that same imperialism and manifest destiny attitudes that helped wipe out native Americans, lent itself to how permanent underclasses built this nation.

I think it's all meant to move us forward... We're not as smart and great as we think. They want to tell the story without any reason to think you need a tin foil hat. Truthseeking at it's best, if you ask me.

But, I'll wait till I see the series to see if I'm correct.
