Creative Speculation

Like the Zapruder film, the first frame after the hit (i.e. the frame that shows splatter), shows that the head has snapped forward from the frame before, implying that the shot came from behind. Also like Zapruder, it shows the "back and to the left" which came later was an accelerating motion, and since the bullet could have only applied force while it was passing through the head, that acceleration cannot have been caused by momentum from the bullet.
