They assumed significant strucal damage. What would you expect if a 250 ton airplane flying at 500 mph hit a building? You do think a plane actually hit the WTC don't you?

And those fires were not small or random. Only a Truther could look at a smoke plume that was miles high and visible from outer space and say "wow- what a tiny fire." Go look at the Madrid fire that Truthers used to love so much until they figured out that the steel portions actually collapsed due to fire.
