However I was working, most of the time, with a "liberal" enclave. There were anti-vaxx RWNJ's on other shifts I'm curious whether they'll be surrendering to the jab or quit their jobs. I got assaulted by an anti-masker when I asked him to please put his mask back on while I was there. I had to quickly lock myself into a control booth and let him rant through the leaded glass how I was violating his god given breathing system. Security helped me diffuse this idiot.
I toured some of Tuolomne while there, beautiful country, too bad the occasional landscape marr of overblown "Trump" displays. Usually with some sort of obscene, acerbic messaging.
Much of my gigs have been in medical manpower shortage areas, especially when the job market is poor. Many years ago I had the nauseating experience of working in Del Norte county, during the "tea party" idiocy. Racist bumperstickers everywhere, and I had to endure overhearing collegues discuss at length whatever nutzoid shit Glenn Beck had postulated the previous evening. I'm taking advantage of the tremendous demand to get back to a somewhat more "desirable" area, with any luck.
Some bright day, these imbeciles will die off or see enough to figure out they've been acting like jackasses.
Maybe then we can once again pursue public venues.
