Who is Victoria Atkins?
The politician is the MP for Louth and Horncastle in Lincolnshire, having represented the constituency since 2015. The 47-year-old is from a political family – her father is Sir Robert Atkins, a former MEP and and former Tory MP for Preston North and latterly South Ribble, in Lancashire.

Her mother is Lady Dulcie Atkins, a Tory councillor for Wyre Council in Lancashire. She has held numerous ministerial posts prior to her joining Mr Sunak’s cabinet, serving in Theresa May and Boris Johnson’s governments.
