of NMWA, but stopped because it seemed to me they’d just created a gold plated ghetto for women’s art. They weren’t advocating for women’s art anywhere outside the confines of their museum. I sure hope that has changed.

American Women Artists has traveling shows and, as far as I can tell, is more instrumental in helping women to show their art in established museums.
