5. I saw this some years back. Excellent movie...

and in other documentaries, the Janes were featured prominently. Yes... it's going to be time to do the Underground thing for women, much as it was done for Blacks in the days of slavery. These are the days of involuntary servitude of women. The police and the military will be against us and working for the government. But in some ways, with meds, we might be in a better place than the original Janes. I'm just not smart enough to think of all the contingencies.

I have for years recommended that all women watch the film "Rain without Thunder"... I watched it a couple of years back and it hit me as hard as it did the first time I saw it. We ARE living it now, especially when they start restricting women's movement across state lines (and it will come to be!). This came out long before Handmaid's Tale, and as good as that movie/show is, I can't recommend it over Rain without Thunder. The latter will hit you in the gut with how prophetic it actually was for it's time.
