Feminists

I'm old enough to remember the absolute bullshit justifications for this (But they take time off to have BABIES! They CHOOSE jobs that pay less!) and the entire time when everything is properly controlled for things like having babies, women are paid less than men for the exact same job.

In 1969 I went to work as an airline ticket agent. The airline I worked for (Mohawk which probably none of you have even heard of) hired women for the ticket counter, men to work operations and the ramp. The guys were paid more. Even though while the ticket counter job didn't require quite as much heavy lifting as the ramp, it required a hell of a lot more brain power.

Recently I read an interesting article that pointed out that in fields that women moved into in great numbers, the pay declined. If women do the work, it's devalued.
