7. Context is important. The less you know the man, the more sexist it sounds.

I have called my wife "snippy" before, but she was in a bad mood and took it out on me. She is better educated than me and most of the time reacts better emotionally to issues than myself. I still reserve the right to have candid conversations with her and she has the same right with me.
