YOU: So why should I give you even a Penny of my hard earned money Lizz?

Fair question. Because I think ladies should always have the freedom to be unapologetic sexual beings and part of that means guaranteeing we all have access to affordable reproductive healthcare.

YOU: Well I think that too. But you want my money, how you gonna make that happen?

Because I make shit happen.

I am a comedian, author, co-creator of The Daily Show and a feminist. I am also a fierce supporter of women's reproductive rights and in the past year, I have toured the country doing benefits to raise money for Planned Parenthood and NARAL. TO DATE I HAVE HELPED RAISE WELL OVER A MILLION DOLLARS. I am also one of the co founders of A is For, an organization that raises awareness about repro rights and raises money for The Center For Reproductive Rights.



In addition to the money, by using humor to speak truth to hypocrisy, my shows have energized young people to join the fight because comedy is a medium that has increasingly become a crucial way alot of people get their news these days,

We have seen 75% first time donors in many cities and between 65 and 75% women under 35. I have found humor is a very powerful weapon in this war on women and want to keep the momentum going.
