Just got back from seeing my new GP...🤣🤣🤣 [View all]

My old one has retired. So this new on ask about my family health history. He is young and had a nice tan before I I gave him the low down.

Apparently he was not ready to hear:

Mom side:
Grandpa died of sudden heart attack
grandma died of heart failure
Mom, 1 sister died of cancer
2 sister, brother breast cancer survivors
Cousin did from brain aneurysm

Dad side:
Dad died of cancer
Grandma, grandpa dies of heart failure
Brother died from heart attack
Sister died of coronary on the operation table
Most of father side died due to heart issues

So he has now signed me up for a hug battery of test. I didn't even get into my siblings issues before he had. Me scheduled for a mammogram, colonoscopy, stress test, full body MRI and a lot of blood work.
He is also going to be talking to my Neurologist and getting the full story about my MS. He wants to know exactly what stage it is, exactly what parts of the brain it is affecting.
Apparently he feels he wasn't given my full medical file and he's going to build a complete one himself.
