2. I had the surgery in both wrists several years ago. I'm VERY glad I did. My hands and wrists

we're so bad that I often had to steer my car with my forearms for a while to relieve them.

I haven't had any trouble with them since.

A friend had a steroid shot that relieved her carpal tunnel syndrome adequately, but her case wasn't as severe as mine. However, she was a beautician, so it interfered with her work. But since the shot relieved her pain, she didn't get the surgery.

We did try shots first on my wrists, but they didn't help at all, so I had the surgery and got immediate and complete relief.
