I could not find any online references to this stretch as it is quite difficult to describe. This stretch was taught to my by a doctor in Haines, Alaska when I was a pastry chef on a cruise ship. It seems as though Haines had quite a history with carpal tunnel syndrome from the window washers on the many trains embarking to the yukon and the fever dreams of gold. the stretch itself comes from the riddlers of France who would develop carpal tunnel from the repetitive motion of turning the wine bottles, in response at the end of the day they would stretch with the red baton(baton rouge) three times to keep their wrists hardy.
Since I could not find any visual references to show you i had to film my daughter performing the stretch for better understanding.
