3. Probably not long on clothing, it seems to live longest

on hard surfaces. I'd probably do a good hand wash after I put the clothes into the washer if I were taking care of infected people.

Soap and cold water will do the trick, the soap screws up the virus's protective envelope and once the RNA is exposed, it degrades very quickly.
