nerve problem after oral surgery. [View all]

It's been two weeks and hubby's face is still distorted on the side of the surgery. I fear that something went wrong. Our dentist, who is nearby and referred him to the oral surgeon, said he would check him out when I was there getting a filling last week. Hubby was "thinking about it," his way of saying "I'm really scared of the dentist." I told him it was OK to be scared but for chrissake just get it CHECKED OUT!

I was up half the night worried sick about a lot of things and filled with dread. This morning I was better, since the world didn't end.

It's crappy to be old. However, considering the alternative...
