I'm at the age when I wonder every day if there is some hidden malignancy growing in my body.

Last time I was in the emergency room, the doctor there suspected I had intestinal cancer and scheduled me for a colonoscopy. Took over two months just to get the colonoscopy (and another ten days for the results of the biopsy), precious time that a cancer could be growing and spreading in my body unchecked.

Just think. Instead of all that anguish and uncertainty, a regular blood test during my regular check-ups could have set me at ease and spared the expense of a colonoscopy, as well as giving me a better chance of survival had a cancer been present.
