17. honestly I do not feel lonely, just so long as these angels are around.

less drama, (although they may want something now and then), somewhat independent (you may need to take the pup outside for his business (lol...which can be quite entertaining and some exercise for the human) and not too many needs (bowl of food, spot to sleep).
They usually (pups do) are happy to see you come home. (my cats are less excited lol). I guess I have my life complete with the paw crowd!!
