Paxlovid is no longer recommended for persons treated for blood pressure or liver problems. Pax is processed through liver and kidneys and can have negative effects on both organs.


If you (D.U. audience) are being treated for blood pressure and have a number above 61, you will be referred to an alternate medication. The alternative is not as effective but doesn't do damage to kidneys or liver.
