I’ve been on varying doses of the same 2 meds for at least 6 yrs. Currently Lisinopril 40 mg daily and Amlodipine 5 mg daily. Don’t know if either of those are considered ‘water’ pills, but doc says they want me to stay on Lisinopril because it supposedly helps protect the kidneys if you’re diabetic.

After I bumped up my exercise to 180+ min/wk (after about 2 months) the amlodipine was lowered from 10mg to 5mg because I was getting some really low readings after exercise (like 79/56).

Yesterday’s readings were 103/78 (am drs appt), 125/78 (afternoon before exercise), and 114/60 (after exercise).

Healthy thoughts being sent your way!
