Knowing these facts is one thing, changing your habits and lifestyle is another. Most do know the advantages but continue to practice poor choices. Practicing self control is not one of Americans' strong points. People are lazy and they eat way too much. Do the math. The current BS from the media is encouraging this poor behavior by crying, "Don't fat shame people". How about, "Don't eat so much and move more". It is easier to cry "fat shame" than it is to do anything constructive and healthy. I have said this before and people get really pissed off, I think I hit a nerve. Look at Americans in general from the 70s. There is a stark contrast in weight. This puts a strain on our healthcare and drives insurance prices up for everyone. No one wins.
