over 10 years ago, but stayed overnight. All went well. Absolutely NO fat for 3 weeks, I was told by my doctor. After that - just watch the amount of fat eaten at one time since the liver has to do what the gall bladder used to do. Never had problem with the runs, though. Was so glad to get rid of the pain!
