One of my new big pet peeves [View all]

Disclaimer* I really do try hard to not allow myself be bothered by things.

I just remembered that I didn't complete the registration for my appointment with a retina specialist today. They had sent me a link on my phone. I started to go through the process, but, damn it, it was too difficult to go through the entire thing on my phone because my vision has declined. I was already a bit emotional about the possibility of going blind. I decided I needed to get back to it later. Well, of course the link is no longer valid. So now I need to wait until the office opens and ask them to email me a link, rather than text it to me. How can they not know that it can be difficult for someone who has vision problems?

Last week when I went to the ophthalmologist, the receptionist handed me a form to complete that had no larger than 8 point font. Excuse my language, but WTF???? I had just gotten the news that my macular degeneration had gone from dry to partially wet, so my state of mind wasn't great. It took a lot for me to maintain politeness, but I did.

Anyway, all I have to say is GRRRRRRR!
