Published in peer reviewed scientific journals: add the term pubmed to any medical search. Youll see abstracts with citation numbers. Sometimes youll be able to read the whole article. The first link below is like that.

I dont know enough about science to be able to read the whole article, but the abstract is enough for me to get the gist of it most of the time.
You can always go to a university near you and use the library to read the rest of the article or you can contact the authors directly and ask him to send it to you. Often they will do it for free- they usually dont get any of the money from the journals that collect.
