1. Yes... I had vertigo.

Also multi backed to the max and has COVID before it was named, in December 2019. Very bad case with long COVID including , vertigo, fainting, and skin itching so bad I thought I would rip my hide off. Luckily all have passed and have not been reinfected.

The vertigo came and went for several months.
I hope it passes quickly for you.

Google PPV. Dr. Told me that coughing can cause the “rocks” in your ear canal that regulate balance to shift.
There are a couple of easy exercises (head rolls) that can help.
