Covid Vaccines are getting expensive - if you don't have insurnace [View all]

I got the most recent one, Moderna, at CVS Pharmacy. They submitted it to my Medicare insurance which paid its part. No copay for me. But I saw it in my claims reports, did not recognize it so called and got the explanation. The plan paid $185.19.

But last May I was at my doctor's office and while the decided to have the then recent one. The plan then paid.. $43.07 (The claim was $120).

The flu shot, however, they charged me $4.40..

Oh well..

I hope that Obamacare pays for these vaccines.
