I hate to sound like an anti-science nut, which I am not, but in my long life I lost a 54 year old neighbor who had a stroke the day after a dental cleaning and a 74 year old neighbor who spiraled downhill to death from a heart attack after a cosmetic dental procedure. Modern dentistry is wonderful in helping us keep our teeth into old age, therefore not dying of malnutrition. But there are some risks.
