It just gets better,, not really, [View all]

Been rehabbing from my stroke and it had been going so well. I progressed from wheelchair, to walker, to being able to walk 400 feet with a gait belt and my PT. We were rocking it, until last Friday.
I was getting ready to shower standing and holding the bar, and my left leg just " disappeared" I couldn't feel it, I was falling and conscious. I knew it was gonna hurt when I hit the floor
Long story, short. 3 screws in my hip later, and a few nights in hospital. And I can now limp with my PT about 35 feet.
Now inpatient rehab for the foreseeable future.
Once we get hip rehabbed, then we go back to endurance and walking.
Last Wed I walked 6000 steps for rehab, today I managed 200.
It just sucks.
