almost afraid to ask what the outcome was with your stepdad, hope it was OK. Disturbing when there is no clear path, it will be challenging and maybe just clearing a path for others in the future. You just always hope to be one of the small percentage that lives a long time, but you also face the reality that you might not be one of the lucky ones.
