this anti-abortion hysteria has not always been with us.
My sister was in this woman's position (water breaking early etc) in the 70's and had what they called then - an incomplete abortion at a Catholic hospital. They did it to save her life - her doctor was Catholic and he had compassion and common sense. There was no controversy, just good care.

Our political climate is turning out fundamentalists on every issue the RW commands and our country is sicker for it.
