Does anyone here have a subscription to Fold3?.. [View all]

I would like to ask a favor. I don't want to sign up for their 10 day free trial if I don't have to. I'm kinda afraid to do that.

I would appreciate a look-up on the following:

This is from Family Search

Thomas J D Lance
52d Infantry
NARA Publication Title:
Compiled Service Records of Confederate Soldiers Who Served in Organizations from the State of Georgia
NARA Publication Number:
M266
NARA Roll Number:
518

This is from Fold3

During that period of his life he was married to my gggrandmother who died after giving birth to their second child we assume. He soon after married again and he and the second wife brought up the 2 children from his first marriage along with a slew of ther own.

I'm hoping some of his military records will mention his first wife and children because all other records were lost in a fire in Georgia. Even if they don't maybe just having more info about his military service would lead me to other places. If they have quite a bit of info that might be helpful I would buy a subscription.

Thanks, LS
