with her. I have a paternal cousin who's only a few years younger but is my 'twin' in so many ways it's wild to me.
Finding my bio families certainly has convinced me that not only appearances but genetic memory is a real thing though. I never truly 'fit' with my adoptive parents. Finding my bio families (my parents are unfortunately both deceased), especially my Canadian paternal side, was like finding a pair of comfy slippers that you had packed away and rediscovered while clearing out the attic.
I hope you can all get together soon. This is a whole new and exciting (and and possibly a bit scary) chapter for her and I very much wish you all joy as a family reunited.

I see a tree on Ancestry where there's a Daniel Cahill and an Ellen Louise Hipwell.
