he negotiated a deal, and was given 100 acres. but he did land in botany bay.
he wanted to come to america.
he had more kids than the ancestry charts i saw, 7. i think i only saw 4.
came from a family of 7, like me.
he got into trouble there, tried for fomenting insurrection. acquitted, and rose to chief of police in liverpool, new south wales.
but ended up a drunkered. went bankrupt, went to debtors prison, caught dysentery and died.
left a lot of aussie descendants behind.
dang. this is fun.
