The last time I was in, I joked to the retail cashier that “Bill and I are very close.” She laughed heartily and gave me a free Penzey’s coffee mug “In honor of your close friendship with Bill.” I am lucky. I have 3 retail Penzey’s stores within 10 miles of my home.
