neither of which can cook with a darn, and if they try dirty every dish in the house, this was the lesser of two evils! (LOL)

Had them order in last night. Just put the bread in the oven now. Tasted the stew; it's really good. And probably the easiest beef stew I've ever made. Not even a recipe to remember. More of a "dump" dish than anything else. Hardest (and longest) part was cutting the beef up small enough for me and hubby to eat easily, flouring it, and searing it in batches. Once that was done, the rest was a snap!
