5. Dinner out at a Bosnian-American restaurant

My son and husband wanted to have a veal soup that was on the menu, but it was not available. So my husband had grilled trout and my son and I had cevapi (small skinless sausages) with kajmak (something like cream cheese, but more cultured tasting) and ajvar (roasted red pepper spread). First course was chicken soup, and the dinner was served with Bosnian bread, both of which were homemade. Everything was nicely presented (more like in Europe) and very good. It's so expensive to eat meals out, that if you're a good cook, it's usually a better deal to eat at home. This was worth the money.
