Went from gas to induction recently [View all]

and there's a learning curve. But I can boil a pot in just a few minutes!

The old stove had been dying for some time, but ya know how ya just get used to things and try to work around it? 45 minutes to preheat, 25 minutes to boil, buttons that don't do anything, burners that went out for no reason. It's so old that I can't remember when we got it. We had it worked on several times but then it just kept telling us it did not want to live with us any more!

Had to get a few pots but mainly already had cookware that works. I will NOT miss cleaning those heavy grates.

Trying to get the bull that lives with me to not shake pans or crash cast iron down.

Any tips to share?
