visits. I didn't have a lot of money for sightseeing, but managed to get around by renting mopeds. The panoramic view from the Acropolis is one of the most stunning in the world. You are looking down from the ancient city and looking at the modern metropolis of Athens on the Aegean Sea.

Anyways to make the story short, these hippy college kids spent the entire summer visiting Europe in a van they bought overseas. I took them aboard my navy ship for a tour, and a free meal. That's probably why I liked Corfu so much. I had friends with a van to sight see.
