7. He is a sweet heart, in his own way

He's just not usually a lap cat. He sits and sleeps next to me for a while and then heads down to the foot of the bed. Every once in a while he makes it known he'd love some scritches. And last night he gave my hand a very thorough washing. Again, something he doesn't usually do. He's the 'oldest' and will always be special, going from a kitten with the saddest face I've ever seen to a handsome young prince.

Gryff is VERY affectionate but he just can't settle down. He climbs all over me, giving me head butts and wet nose kisses. If I reach for something, he guides my hand back to his head. He's always underfoot when I'm cooking but it's also the rare time he meows. He always heads out on his own, at night.

Arthur is a lap cat, a snuggle cat, and a sleep right next to me, pretty much all night cat. He LOVES to be cuddled and kissed. Sometimes he will very softly meow in response to something I've said to him. (None of my boys are talkative.) And, Arthur has pretty much installed himself as the alpha male, which I find endlessly amusing. He will always be a special guy because I first saw him the day he was born, and every day since. Madoc was 4 weeks old and Gryff was 4 months old. I feel lucky that Gryff settled in as fast as he did. You'd guess he was Madoc's litter mate.
