I have a rescue Tuxedo. He was about 8 months when I got him 3 years ago.
I was so lucky! When he first saw me at the rescue, he kind of cocked his head sideways, looking at me kind of oddly, and that was it. It was love at first sight! I did look at all the other kitties that were there, but came back to my guy. He was so relaxed and playful at the rescue.
When I brought him home, after he had a bit of time to get used to the changes, he was under my neck cuddling with me. Again, I'm /so/ lucky! My mom has a rescue cat that just won't cuddle. She is just weird, and she ends up pissing all over everything.
My Tuxedo boy (named Stormy because he has a lightening strike up the side of his nose), has NEVER defecated outside of his litter box. He loves to cuddle, he is good to my elderly yorkie doggie. He loves to play, he talks to me. He is everything I ever wanted in a kitty.
Tuxedo's are the best personalities. I hope this boy/girl makes someone as happy as Stormy makes me. I'm so glad to have him in my life.
