Madoc has a purr that is meant to cure [View all]

Last night he was unusually snuggly. Madoc's fur is plush and soft, and he's a sizable boy. He curled up next to me and let me give him kisses, scritches and use him as a pillow. Then his purr kicked in and it is LOUD.

It's important to note that Madoc has been a bit 'distant' since Merlin arrived. He prefers to not be in the same room with him. Last night, not only was he in the same room but ALSO on the same bed!

This wonderful purr therapy went on for quite a while. Admittedly I had been pretty stressed out for most of the day so maybe that's why he ignored the intruder and gave me some calming time.

BTW, Merlin has now conquered every single barrier I can think of to keep him in t he den. Now he's a free range mischievous little wizard.
