how and how much women remember their abortions. Hers was extremely traumatic in several different ways, interrupting and changing the course of her life. It’s no wonder she ponders it often. My abortion was necessary in my life and was performed quickly and without trauma or after effect. I don’t think about it more often than maybe once a decade, if even then.
