2. We lost a friend on that flight. A childhood friend

of my husband’s. He was in Chicago on business. He was not supposed to be on that flight, but he was anxious to get home to Pgh and an open seat occurred so he took it.

He left a wife and two young children. She wrote a book about being widowed unexpectedly. RIP Steve.
